Wednesday Murder Quiz at The Anchor.
Launching on 11th February, this new quiz night offers an engaging evening built around mystery, teamwork and thoughtful fun. Taking place every second Wednesday of the month, it’s designed for guests who enjoy a relaxed challenge alongside good food and drink.
Entry is £3 per person, with all proceeds donated to Willen Hospice. We encourage guests to gather a team, book a table for the launch night on 11th February, and join us for an evening of clues, conversation and quiet competition by the water.
Joe Scripps: Live Lounge Sessions
Live music is part of Thursday evenings at The Anchor. Each week from 7pm, we welcome Joe Scripps for his Live Lounge Sessions an easy-going acoustic evening of live performance, well suited to enjoying alongside dinner and drinks.
These sessions are designed to complement the atmosphere offering quality live music in a relaxed setting on The Deck.

Mother’s Day at The Anchor
This Mother’s Day, we invite you to gather around our table and honour the remarkable women in our lives with a beautifully curated set menu, crafted with the finest seasonal ingredients and a focus on provenance. Expect elegant, comforting dishes designed for lingering conversations and cherished family moments - all served in the warm, refined surroundings of our quintessentially British pub
To make the occasion all the more memorable, every mum will be welcomed with a complimentary glass of prosecco — a small toast to everything she does.
Six Nations at The Anchor
All matches will be shown in our bar area and on The Deck, with both our pub menu and main menu available throughout. For those watching as a group, private dining spaces can also be reserved for a more dedicated viewing experience. Get in touch with us to book your table to watch the games.

Mothers Day Bouquet Masterclass
With Afternoon Tea - 12pm - 3pm
On Saturday 14th March, we’ll be hosting a Bouquet Masterclass in partnership with Finishing Touch MK, a thoughtful way to mark Mother’s Day and spend time together.
Guests will be guided through creating a beautiful seasonal bouquet, followed by a relaxed afternoon tea at The Anchor. The experience is designed to be unhurried and enjoyable, combining creativity, good food and shared moments.
The price is £65 per person, which includes the bouquet masterclass and afternoon tea. Places are limited and booking is essential.
